Zambales cops launch ‘Kasimbayanan’ for peace & order in province

The Zambales Police Provincial Office is relaunching its “Kasimbayanan” program to promote peace and order in the province.

According to Police Provincial Director Police Col. Fitz Macariola, Kasimbayanan is short for Kapulisan, Simbahan, and Pamayanan, a program seeking collaboration among various sectors for sustaining peace and development in the community.

“Despite our differences, we public servants want to encourage especially the church and the entire community to unite for the continued growth not only of our country but also of our relationship with each other,” he said.

Macariola said unity was important in achieving peace and in community building.

“As law enforcers and advocates for peace, we are looking forward to a unified society specifically here in our beautiful and peaceful province. I believed that with you as our support system, we will never fail,” he said.

The launch was highlighted by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the police and key members of the group, recital of pledge of commitment, and ceremonial pinning of the pin button.
