Zambales congresswoman Cheryl Deloso Montalla gets approval for two tax provisions
Zambales 2nd district representative Cheryl Deloso Montalla welcomed the week on a high note.
Aside from celebrating the feast day of Apo San Roque, she also attended a tax provision meeting of the Committee on Ways and Means. It was presided by Chair Joey Salceda. The committee approved the tax provisions for the following:
1. HB 9321 – An Act Establishing a College of Medicine in PRMSU main campus in the Municipality of Iba Province of Zambales to be known as The PRMSU COLLEGE OF MEDICINE
2. Unnumbered HB (final Substitute Bill where our HB 485 was incorporated) – An Act Establishing the National Center for Geriatric Health and Research Institute and Regional Geriatric Specialty Centers in DOH hospitals under the DOH
With the positive response, Congresswoman Montalla thanked Committee on Higher and Technical Education Chair Mark Go and Committee on Health Chair Helen Tan who facilitated and expedited the deliberation process. Of course, she also thanked Chair Salceda and her colleagues.
