Yap discusses economic innovation with new CDC CEO
Tarlac Governor Susan Yap on Thursday received a courtesy call from the newly-appointed Clark Development Corporation (CDC) president and CEO Manuel Gaerlan to talk about how to boost innovation in Tarlac province and the Clark freeport area.
In a Facebook post, Yap said she also discussed Tarlac’s efforts in winning against Covid-19, including the strengthened healthcare system and measures and the strict enforcement of local health and entry protocols.
The governor said she and Gaerlan also spoke about the “continuous support for the business sector, the deployment of the innovative PayMaYap ATM cards, and infrastructure developments geared to boost the economy in the Metro Clark areas.”
Also present during Gaerlan’s visit were CDC Communications Division Head Noel Tulabut, aide-de-camp Aleksie Gaerlan, and Tarlac’s liaison officer to the Metro Clark Advisory Council Frances Canlas-Camacho.
