Yap alarmed over sudden spike of Covid-19 cases in Concepcion
Tarlac Governor Susan Yap on Tuesday expressed worry about the sudden spike in the number of positive coronavirus cases in Concepcion town which rose to 86 as of Monday.
Of that number, 66 cases remain active, according to officials.
Yap said the Covid-19 patients from Concepcion had begun arriving in the new isolation and quarantine facility in New Clark City to get themselves checked.
Nakakabahala ang biglang taas ng mga positives sa Concepcion,” she said on her Facebook page.
Must wear face mask and shield. Ingat lagi po tayo!” Yap said.
As of September 14, there are 259 confirmed cases in Tarlac province. Some 13 people have died while 119 have recovered from the dreaded disease.
