Visa-free travel from Clark to Yangyang airport now on offer

Travelers departing from Clark International Airport may now enter South Korea visa-free if they fly directly to Yangyang International Airport.
The South Korean low-cost airline Fly Gangwon has resumed their operations at the Clark airport.
Its flights were temporarily halted during the pandemic. Fly Gangwon only operates at the Clark airport, making Clark its first and only Philippine destination.
Leading the inaugural flight were Baek Seungyong of Fly Gangwon Sales and Seung Hyun Kim, Fly Gangwon station manager, together with Bi Yong Chungunco, CEO of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), operator of CRK.
Travelers arriving through Yangyang can visit Gangwon and Seoul City center for up to 15 days under the visa waiver program, provided they are part of a group tour.
Tourists should also be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 and must also be booked through accredited travel agencies.
