Victoria bypass road on track for completion
The construction of the Maluid-Cruz Bypass Road in Victoria town in Tarlac province is on schedule for completion, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
The bypass is expected to be open to the public by late June, DPWH Tarlac first district engineer Erelina Santos said in a Philippine Information Agency report.
“This is our way of giving the Tarlaqueños the convenience that they long deserved. We look forward to a more vibrant movement of people especially our farmers, and of course a better and safer roadway,” Santos said.
The project is expected to benefit families living in farmlands of barangays of Maluid and Cruz
The shortened travel time between the two barangays is seen to improve living conditions and market access among the farmers and residents in the area.
