Vice Governor Cris Garcia turns to faith to survive COVID-19 crisis
As a heavily Catholic country, majority of the Filipino population always turn to God and the Church for help.
Bataan Vice Governor Cris Garcia heeded Saint Joseph’s guidance. While she did not mention any COVID-19 pandemic, the vice governor shared a timely intercession to the saint for the Philippines.
Saint Joseph is the patron saint of Universal Church, families, fathers, expectant mothers (pregnant women), travelers, immigrants, house sellers and buyers.
Aside from physical help and staying indoors during the government-imposed quarantine, what Catholic Filipinos do is pray.
