Tulong kay Rody: Alvarado convenes PADAC to come up with anti-drug strategies
Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado has convened the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) so that it can come up with strategies that can help President Rodrigo Duterte’s ongoing campaign against illegal drugs.
“We should help the President in whatever way we could in fighting this menace,” the politiko said.
In line with this, Alvarado said that PADAC will conduct a symposium dubbed as “Kampanya para sa Pagsugpo sa Ipinagbabawal na Gamot” to be held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on March 29, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
The symposium will be attended by approximately 4,300 illegal drugs users and pushers out of the more than 36,000 users and pushers that have turned themselves over to the police.
The participants will come from all the municipalities in Bulacan.
Alvarado said that different government agencies like the Department of Health, Philippine National Police, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Alliance for Values Formation and other concerned groups will also help in this endeavor.
