Travel expo in Clark to feature NorthPhil’s wonders
NorthPhil might just be the next popular global destination.
This is what the Department of Tourism would try to prove in the upcoming NorthPhil Tourism and Travel Expo at the SM City in Clark, Pampanga on November 17-19.
The expo will showcase different attractions of four regions in Luzon—Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) as a hub for natural wonders, Ilocos region (Region 1) for history and culture, Cagayan Valley (Region 2) for all-terrain adventures and Central Luzon (Region 3) for sports, agri-tourism and culinary” escapades.
“Such attributes will be showcased in the NorthPhil exhibits and shows for the entire duration of the expo, with all the tourism-industry sectors participating,” said Carol de Guzman-Uy, DOT Central Luzon officer in charge.
The DOT has been promoting NorthPhil as a “tourism superregion and global destination.” Because of this, international airports in Clark, Subic and Laoag experience a growth of passenger volume.
