Oct 30, 2017 @ 7:26

The Department of Tourism in the regional offices of Central Luzon, Cordilleras, Ilocos, and Cagayan Valley will host the North Philippines (NorthPhil) Tourism and Travel Expo at the SM City Clark in Pampanga on Nov.17-18.

The expo aims to showcase the finest tourism wonders of NorthPhil and to promote the “super-region” in the field of sustainable tourism.

The provinces of Aurora, Bataan, Zambales and Pampanga, and the Angeles City Tourism Office will sponsor the project, as well as the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Clark Development Corp., Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, and the NLEX Corp.

The Association of Tourism Officers of Central Luzon and Cebu Pacific Air will be the expo’s private partners.

NorthPhil is one of the major beneficiaries of the government’s “Build, Build, Build” program, which includes massive infrastructure projects in the “super-region.”

It can be reached through its three international airports in Clark, Subic and Laoag. The biggest of which is Clark, with passenger volume for international and domestic flights expected to reach 1.5 million by yearend.
