This is why San Jose Nueva Ecija Mayor Kokoy Salvador called for an emergency IATF meeting
San Jose Nueva Ecija Mayor Kokoy Salvador called an emergency meeting of the local IATF last Wednesday.
Once and for all, he clarified the news and gossip circulating around his town. There is a new case of COVID-19 in San Jose. He is currently being monitored by the City Health Office at the quarantine facility in City High.
Right now, the LGU is doing contact tracing to make sure everyone that the patient interacted with since June 14 will be tested and quarantined. He asked for his constituents’ cooperation to voluntarily present themselves to the City Health so that they can be monitored.
The compound of the patient’s house is currently in lockdown. Mayor Salvador ended his reminder with a warning to his followers that spreading photos of the patient is illegal.
