This Filipino practice is unfair, according to Representative Roman

On her official Facebook page, Bataan 1st District Representative Roman aired her grievances against traditional, backward ways of raising children: teaching household chores to girls while boys are allowed to just sit and do nothing.
She shared an article wherein boys in a Spanish school are being taught how to iron, sew, and cook among other chores. She jokes that boys in the Philippines are just making their tummies bigger while in fact, if they are taught household chores, they would gain a lot of life lessons that they can later on apply once they leave their parents’ home.
Facebook followers of Representative Roman agreed with her and added that education starts at home. What do you think?
