Tarlac offers free Tesda classes for bakers, housekeepers, baristas
Want to learn new skills while under quarantine?
Tarlac Governor Susan Yap on Wednesday led the launch of a new project offering free Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) classes to residents during the quarantine.
The Tarlac government’s Tarlac Center for Learning and Skills Success (TCLASS) partnered with Tesda to give vouchers or scholarship programs to qualified beneficiaries to attend the free classes.
The launch was held at IT Training Center Building, Right Wing IT Park 1, Barangay Tibag, Tarlac City.
Some of the free lessons are on housekeeping, food and beverage services, massage therapy, barista, bread and pastry, and cookery.
The classes will be offered on various dates from November 2020 to February 2021
“Inip na ba kayo sa bahay? Magsanay po tayo! All classes libre if with TESDA voucher sa ating TCLASS! So ano pa antay natin! Come, visit TCLASS and learn new skills!” Yap said in a Facebook post.
