Tarlac health officer reminds parents to get 5-11 year-olds vaxxed
Tarlac Provincial Health Officer Jeanette Lazatin has reminded parents of 5 to 11 years old to have their children vaccinated against the virus.
“We know that this is not mandatory but we highly recommend elementary students to receive their vaccines especially with the upcoming opening face-to-face classes,” she said.
Vaccination sites include Tarlac Provincial Hospital, district hospitals, rural health units, and select malls.
They are open daily from Monday to Friday while SM City Tarlac vaccination site is open from Monday to Saturday.
The Tarlac provincial government has urged residents of the province to get their booster shot against COVID-19.
The reminder was issued as part of the PinasLakas! campaign of the Department of Health, which aims to administer booster shots to about 50 percent or 23.8 million of the target population nationwide in the first 100 days of the administration of President Bongbong Marcos Jr.
