Tarlac Gov Yap promotes province as investment destination
Tarlac Governor Susan Yap is promoting her province to interested investors, citing Tarlac as “one of the fast emerging local economies in the Philippines.”
On her Facebook page, Yap said that “with the awards and recognitions awarded to the province due to its business-friendliness and good governance, investors and businesses within and outside the country are investing in the province’s capability to be the next big thing in business and investments.”
A video shared by Yap points out that Tarlac, strategically located in Central Luzon, is already fast becoming a sub-urban domain despite also being a suitable place for relaxation and solitude.
The province, it said, has vast areas for locators, has easy access to its proximity to major seaports and airports, and has an impressive road network.
The area, it said, is not commonly affected by typhoons and monsoon rains, and is one of the most peaceful provinces in the country.
It cited its recognition from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Hall of Famer, as well as the provincial government’s business incentives program.
Aside from its emergency services and medical facilities, the province is also rich in human and natural resources, the promotional video said.
The province will be home to the proposed New Clark City, an ambitious project of the Duterte administration where the 2019 Asian Games is expected to be held.
