Tarlac City barangay health workers receive nearly P2M quarterly allowance
The city government of Tarlac has distributed a total of about P2 million for the quarterly allowance of its barangay health workers (BHWs).
According to the local government, 657 BHWs and five BHW retirees received their allowance Tuesday, July 10.
Of the total BHWs, 624 are considered Level III and got P3,000 each, while the remaining 33 are Level II and received P1,800 each.
On the other hand, the five BHW retirees received P5,000 from the city government.
“Through Mayor Cristy Angeles’ orders, the City Treasurer’s Office ensures that the allowances of our barangay health workers are given without any delay,” the city government said.
