Tarlac City asks female workers in nightspots to secure ‘pink cards’
The Tarlac City Health Office (CHO), along with the Philippine National Police (PNP), has made the rounds of the nightspots in the city.
“Keeping the girls healthy” was the purpose why the visit in the nightspots was done on May 30, the city government said.
During the rounds, City Health Officer Carmela L. Go reminded the female workers to secure their “pink cards,” proof that they have undergone medical examination, including PAP smear.
“This is to ensure that the female workers are free from any work-related disease,” she said.
The Monitoring Team is also tasked to ascertain that no illegal lewd shows are being performed.
The city government warned that proper legal action will be taken against those who will violate the laws.
