A Taiwan-based technology development company has expanded its business operation at the Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park in Hermosa town in Bataan province.
The Bataan branch of YFC Boneagle Electronic Technology Philippines Corp. under the YFC Development Corporation had its grand inauguration earlier this month.
The company said it was expanding its operation in the manufacture of power cords of 3C, copper LAN cables, patch cords and others used in e-commerce platforms and systems that have something to do with digital distribution channels.
In a Punto Central Luzon report, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton said that 700 new employment opportunities will be generated initially by the expansion program of the firm.
The mayor said this was part of the pledge of seven Taiwanese firms to expand operations in the country with investment worth P3.7 billion.
He said that based on the report released by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, there are other manufacturing firms interested to operate in Hermosa.
“Isang karangalan na tayo ay maimbitahan para sa ribbon-cutting ng YFC Boneagle Electronic Technology na isa na namang bagong mamumuhunan. Maraming salamat sa tiwala at pagpili sa aming progresibo at maunlad na Bayan ng Hermosa,” Inton was quoted as saying.
