Sotto, Bulakan politikos lead commemoration of Malolos Congress 120th founding anniv
Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III joined provincial and local politikos of Bulacan in commemorating Thursday the establishment of the Malolos Congress 120 years ago.
The event was held at the historic Barasoain Church in Malolos City, with Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado and Vice Governor Daniel Fernando spearheading the occasion.
According to the city government of Malolos, Sotto, an entertainer-turned-politko, acknowledged the important role of the province in the country’s history, especially because many of the national heroes are from Bulacan.
