Sobrang busy! Arroyo elected member of 3 more House committees

Pampanga 2nd District Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on August 16 has been elected member of three more House committees, bringing her committee membership to 12.
The Pampanga politiko is now member of the committees on Local Government, Veterans Affairs and Welfare, and Ways and Means.
Arroyo is now a member of 12 of 58 standing committees.
She was earlier stripped of her deputy speakership for voting against the reimposition of the death penalty.
A deputy speaker is an ex-officio member of all committees of the House and enjoy the rank and privilege of committee chairmen.
