The Central Luzon police regional director has asked police officers in Bulacan province to lead by example by showing empathy and understanding and creating a positive workplace in the performance of their duties.
Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. made the remarks during his first command visit to the headquarters of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) at Camp General Alejo Santos in Malolos City.
During his visit, the Region 3 police chief said police officers should promote a culture that motivates high performance by rewarding high performers and punishing wrongdoers.
By doing this, police personnel will be motivated to perform well, thus, making the workplace conducive, Hidalgo said.
Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, and members of the Bulacan PPO gave Hidalgo a warm welcome and showed him the skills of the Special Weapon and Tactics/Provincial Explosive Ordinance Disposal Canine Unit (SWAT/PECU).
Hidalgo and Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando led the ribbon-cutting for the newly-built main gate of the camp.
Newly issued mobile patrol units from Police Region Office 3 were also displayed and blessed during the event.
