SEC collaborates w/ college in aiding MSMEs

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has partnered up with Tarlac State University’s College of Public Administration and Governance (TSU-CPAG) in aiding micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The project is seen to help event suppliers in Tarlac province in terms of capacity building, management, and other governance-related activities.

According to SEC Tarlac Extension Office Director Richard Laus, the agency is committed to supporting MSMEs in their businesses during the orientation to the beneficiaries.

“SEC-TEO vows to serve the group of the Tarlac Event Suppliers who are owners of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in processing their registration and annual reportorial requirements,” he said.

In the orientation facilitated by SEC Tarlac, the commission discussed its mandates and services and the importance of being a registered organization in order to obtain a juridical personality.

TSU-CPAG noted that this is part of the extension services of the college to the communities and their stakeholders.
