SBMA chair underscores need to ensure workers’ safety inside freeport

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and locators in the freeport zone have participated in the observance of World Safety Day on Friday.

SBMA Chairman Wilma T. Eisma attended the culmination of the World Safety Day Occupational Health and Safety Town Meeting at the Harbor Point Mall Cinema.

“The workers here are the heart and soul of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, ensuring their health and safety is ensuring the progress of this premier Freeport,” she said.

She said her office and the investors are promoting the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
