SBMA chair on Fire Prevention Month: Preventing fire a team effort

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority chair and administrator Wilma Eisma reminded the public that preventing fires is a team effort that requires everyone’s coordination.
“The SBMA is reminding everyone that March is Fire Prevention Month,” she said in a Facebook post.
“With the theme, ‘Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa’ the SBMA reminds everyone that preventing fires inside the Subic Bay Freeport is a team effort that involves each and every one of us,” Eisma said.
The SBMA conducted a Fire Prevention Month on March 1.
The event was joined by Pure Petroleum Corp., Philippine Coastal Storage and Pipeline Corp., MSK Corp., Cresc Inc., Pactec Subic, Subic Enerzone, and the SBMA Fire Department.
“We also commend the heroism of our firefighters who volunteered to help in the rescue and rehabilitation efforts in Bicol, Marikina and Cagayan,” Eisma said, adding: “I’m proud of you.”
