SBMA chair Eisma vows not to stop war vs waste
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairperson Wilma T. Eisma led Friday several environment-friendly activities in the Subic Bay Freeport (SBF).
The event, dubbed as “Plogging Activity,” was SBMA’s way to commemorate the International Earth Day, which was observed last month.
“The SBMA will not stop the war against waste, we will continue to fight the good fight,” Eisma said.
She said thousands of employees from different government agencies and companies inside the freeport zone joined in SBMA’s “war against waste.”
The agency also relaunched the “Bantay Tambutso” anti-smoke belching program,
It also conducted the biannual Recyclable Collection Event, the launching of the Heaviest Butt Campaign, and the Awarding of the 3rd Recyclable Collection Event Best SBF Locators, SBMA Departments, and Major Sponsors.
