SBMA calls for donations as it sends 2nd rescue team to Cagayan
The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) is sendinng a second team to assist in rescue operations in flooded provinces in Cagayan Valley, officials said on Monday.
SBMA officials led by chair and administrator Wilma Eisma called for donations to be dropped off at the fire department.
Officials said they welcome items like bottled water, food and personal hygiene products.
“You can drop off your donations at the SBMA Fire Department, Station 7, Bldg 71 Sampson Road near MeatPlus & Yellow Cab across the Spanish Gate until 12 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020,” according to a Facebook post shared by Eisma.
“Preloved clothing is discouraged because of Covid,” it added.
“Food, water, medicines, personal hygiene products, and the like are very much needed,” according to the post.
