San Fernando City Mayor Edwin Santiago celebrated his 64th birthday by distributing gifts and social assistance to residents of his hometown of Barangay San Pedro Cutud and the nearby barangays of Sta. Lucia and San Nicolas on Monday.

“Kailangan marunong tayong magpasalamat. ‘Yung kaarawan paalala sa atin iyan na magpasalamat sa regalong buhay – ang pinakamagandang regalo sa atin ng Diyos,” he said.

Through the city social services and development office, the mayor distributed food assistance to senior citizens and PWDs in the barangays.

The CSWD also conducted ceremonial awarding of cash cards to the beneficiaries of the “Tatak EdSa” social programs.
