San Jose Nueva Ecija Mayor Kokoy Salvador starts cleaning cemetery to open visits as early as October
San Jose Nueva Ecija Mayor Kokoy Salvador is making sure his annual practices are not put into a halt amid the pandemic.
The mayor personally visited the cleaning of the cemetery, something he makes sure to do every year. This is to ensure that visitors every All Souls’ Day get a little bit of relief when dropping by their departed loved ones. The only difference with the cleaning this year was it was done way ahead the previous years so that families can start visiting as early as October.
At this time of a pandemic, families are advised to visit early because social distancing must still be observed. Other cemeteries have also said they’ll be closed during the visiting days on November so better go now than be sorry.
