San Fernando opens two new Covid-19 vaccination sites
The San Fernando City government has opened two additional vaccination sites to boost its vaccine program as it moves down to the A3 priority group or individuals with comorbidities.
The Department of Health enlisted Our Lady of Fatima University and Walter Mart as vaccination hubs, in addition to Heroes Hall, the city’s first vaccination site, and the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Medical Center.
The first three sites administer Covid vaccines on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays while the last operates on Saturdays.
The city health office said that the expansion of its vaccination sites is a great help as they will begin the inoculation of the A3 group on June 11.
“Nagbigay na po ng go signal ang DOH para i-start na rin namin ang pagbabakuna sa mga A3,” said Dr. Iris Rose Muñoz, National Immunization Program manager.
“So, nitong Biyernes na yung unang araw ng pagbabakuna natin for the A3 group na simultaneous pong magaganap sa tatlong vaccination sites natin para mas maging mabilis at maayos yung sistema,” she said.
