San Fernando moves to protect employees’ mental health
Besides promoting its personnel’s physical well-being, the San Fernando City government is also focusing on the protection of mental health and instilling self-help and resilience among the employees, officials said.
The city government has lined up virtual activities for such a purpose, including a presentation of audio-visual bite-sized learning series and a mental wellness and stress debriefing session.
On Friday, the city government hosted a biking caravan in observance of the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary or Civil Service Month.
Officials said the activity was aimed at promoting and reinforcing the culture of using bicycles to Fernandino civil servants as a means of transportation and activity for health, fitness and recreation purposes.
The theme of the event was “Kawaning Fernandino Padyak Para Sa Kalusugan” and organized by the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO).
