Roman urges Pinoys to save oceans
Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman is taking the fight to the seas!
The politiko called on the public to do their part in saving the oceans in commemoration of World Environment Day.
“A study says that by 2050, there will be more plastic than fishes in the world’s oceans. One of the crowning jewels of our country is the smattering of pristine, white sand beaches and crystal clear waters that not only give us bountiful food, but priceless memories with our loved ones as well,” said Roman.
“It will be such a shame to lose it all due to careless acts such as throwing plastic into the ocean, or simply not disposing it properly. Even if World Environment Day has passed, we should always remember that we must take the steps to save our oceans and our environment everyday before it is too late,” she added.
