Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman remains hopeful over the passage of the anti-discrimination bill.

The politiko was generally pleased with President Rodrigo Duterte’s 3rd State of the Nation Address. But is now hoping for the best for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

“Moving forward, I am hopeful that our country will continue to experience growth, safety, and freedom,” said Roman.

“It is my hope that President Duterte will continue to work for ALL Filipinos, including my brothers and sisters in the LGBT community, who will greatly benefit from anti-discriminatory laws such as the SOGIE Equality Bill and the Civil Partnership Act,” she added.
