Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman’s pet bill seeking to benefit Filipino war veterans is inching its way to approval!
The politiko shared a news article about the House committee on appropriations of her House Bill Number 270.
Roman’s measure seeks to increase pension for about 6,000 war veterans from P5,000 to P20,000.
“Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our country. They invested blood, sweat, and tears. In return, it is only fitting that we repay their service by taking care of them in their old age,” she said.
