Farmers in Rizal town in Nueva Ecija are benefiting from the completion of the rehabilitation works on local roads.

In a Philippine News Agency report, Nueva Ecija 1st Officer in Charge district engineer Armando Manabat said residents of Barangays Casilagan, General Luna, Aglipay, and Maligaya are enjoying the benefits of the completed road concreting projects with a total length of 4.04 kilometers.

He said the road projects “have significantly eased the struggle of residents in accessing basic services, such as health, education, and trade in goods and services.”

“The development of local roads gives Rizal’s agricultural economy a big boost as it improves the transportation and trade of farm products. We have paved a total of 4.04 lane kilometers of roads, which is also expected to ensure the safe travel of the residents,” Manabat said in a social media post.
