Rizal Mayor Trina Andres: I am not positive of COVID-19!
Because social distancing is being practiced at best in Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Mayor Trina Andres keeps in touch through online platforms.
She went live on Facebook to answer the pressing concerns of her constituents. She even apologized for the way she looked even though she has already showered.
The mayor gave some important updates such as the issuance and implementation of Executive Order #34 which places Rizal under community quarantine. The number of Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) are at 1,163, while 1,061 are in self-quarantine, 102 have passed the 14-day period and seven are Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) after showing mild symptoms of COVID-19. As of Sunday, 2:57 p.m, no one has tested positive in Rizal. The mayor also killed the fake news that she has been tested positive. She answered with a yes, she’s positive that this pandemic will end soon if everyone will cooperate.
She reminded her followers to use the Home Quarantine Pass (HQP), which was laminated by the LGU and will be distributed door-to-door by the baranggays, wisely. Only one person per household will be given the HQP. For the farmers who are concerned about their produce sales, the mayor said she is already coordinating with Governor Oyie. For now, the farmers have to fill-up the Department of Agriculture forms so that the LGU can assist them with their concern.
She addressed more pertinent issues, and all were discussed thoroughly in her almost 2-hour Facebook Live session.
