Region 3 logs 4th highest increase in COVID-19 cases
Central Luzon has logged the fourth highest number of new COVID-19 cases among all regions over the past two weeks, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
Region 3 recorded 352 new cases of COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days.
The National Capital Region recorded 2,365 cases, Region IV-A or Calabarzon had 726, and Region VI or Western Visayas had 396.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in Central Luzon as of Monday stood at 345.
Pampanga, including Angeles City, recorded the highest number of new cases reported in that period with 118 cases.
Bulacan was next with 116, followed by Tarlac with 39, Bataan with 33, Nueva Ecija with 24, Zambales, including Olongapo City, with 19, and Aurora with three.
