Pulilan town wants to boost investments, trade and tourism
The local government of Pulilan in Bulacan province recently led the celebration for the 222nd founding anniversary of the municipality with a series of activities to highlight its recent accomplishments in the business sector.
Mayor Maria Rosario Ochoa-Montejo kicked off the celebration with the launching of the New Market Positioning of the Municipality of Pulilan, Bulacan and Gawad Pulileño 2018, held at SM Center Pulilan Mall Atrium on Saturday, January 20.
Market positioning refers to the establishment of the town’s image or identity as it aims to become a progressive town.
The program is part of the local government’s commitment to boost the town’s trade, investments and tourism.
The mayor was joined by Carolina D. Uy, regional director of the Department of Tourism in Central Luzon and Asec. Maria Lourdes F. Japson, assistant secretary for tourism regulation, coordination and resource generation (TRCRG).
Bulacan Vice Governor Daniel Fernando and Zorina Aldana of Department of Trade and Industry-Bulacan also graced the event.
