More power! Gov Pineda eyes LNG plants in Pampanga
Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda is looking to set up Liquefied Natural Gas plants in the province.
The Pampanga politiko on Monday (May 8) met with several investors from Davao City about putting up an independent source of energy for the benefit of her constituents.
Pineda wants to make Pampanga self-sufficient in terms of energy supply.
The Davao investors, led by Mindanao Cacao Center’s (MCC) Sonny Dizon, are also exploring the development of a cacao program in Pampanga.
If it pushes thru, cacao cultivation will be another source of livelihood for Pampangueños.
