Listen up, millennials, because you’re about to get schooled.
Recently, young Filipinos have revived the reversal of words of “tadbaliks” trend, giving rise to the “lodi (idol),” “werpa (power),” and “petmalu (malupit).”
Not one to be left behind by the bandwagon, Plaridel Mayor Jocell Vistan Casaje posted a meme explaining her town was in on it way before the millennials were even born!
You see, the politiko’s town was named after the pen name of Filipino her Marcelo H. del Pilar.
Now that’s a history lesson for you!
