Pineda sacks job-order employee over Balik Pampanga racket
Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda on Wednesday dismissed a job order worker who asked for and received money from returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) in exchange for facilitating their return under the Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga Program.
According to a statement from the Pampanga information office, provincial administrator Charlie Chua identified the employee as John John Macapagal, who was responsible for transportation services under the program.
All the services under the Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga Program are free of charge, he said.
