Pasiwen: No respite until all killers of 2 Mabalacat cops captured

The director of the Police Regional Office in Central Luzon (PRO-3) vowed to work tirelessly until all suspects in the killing of two members of the Mabalacat City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit were arrested.

“We will have no respite until all the perpetrators are caught, and even if two of our members were killed in line with our diligent efforts to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs, we are committed to the war against this menace,” Brig. General Cesar Pasiwen said.

“We will continue to be relentless in our campaign at all costs,” Pasiwen said.

A suspect in the killing of Senior Master Sergeant Sofronio Capitle Jr. and Staff Sergeant Dominador Gacusan Jr. was gunned down earlier this month while three other suspects were arrested.

The victims were about to board their motorcycle after an operation at 3:40 a.m. on Dec. 3, when five persons wearing bonnets shot them repeatedly at South Daang Bakal Road in Dau town.

“The suspects then alighted from their motorcycles and shot the victims, who had already fallen on the pavement, at point blank range on their heads that resulted in their untimely death,” the police report said.

Pasiwen said: “No stone will be left unturned and we are exerting all efforts to give justice to the slain cops.”
