Pampanga vice gov to constituents: ‘Don’t hide if you’re infected’

Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia Pineda urged Pampanga residents who tested positive for Covid-19 or were exhibiting symptoms not to hide their condition from health authorities.
“Do not be afraid to seek help. Do not hide if you are infected. Go to our district hospitals so that you cannot infect your relatives,” she said in a Sun Star Pampanga report.
“This way, you do not only save yourself but also your loved ones. We can prevent deaths from Covid if only you will let us know and cooperate with us,” Pineda said.
The vice governor advised that at the earliest onset of symptoms, “you should consult with a health worker so that you can take the needed medicines.”
“Do not wait for days or until your symptoms get worse before you go to a hospital,” Pineda said.
She appealed to her constituents to report to their local leaders if they tested positive for Covid-19 so they could be monitored as they go into quarantine.
