Pampanga Vice Gov Pineda gives aid to students
Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis Pineda extended some financial assistance to thousands of students in the province, the provincial government said Monday.
The educational financial cash assistance of P2,500 each covered K-12 learners from some towns in Pampanga’s Second District.
According to the provincial government, the number of beneficiaries from Lubao are 1,265; from Floridablanca are 1,022; from Sasmuan are 113; and, from Guagua are 4,572.
Aside from the financial aid, Pineda also hoped to inspire the student-beneficiaries by sharing some of his experiences in high school.
The provincial government said the activity is meant to show that Pineda, who is running for governor this May, considers the youth, especially students, among its priorities.
