Pampanga towns receive P200 million assistance from DILG
Eleven local government units in Pampanga received P200 million in funds for developmental projects from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The LGUs identified as disadvantaged municipalities are Apalit, Arayat, Bacolor, Floridablanca, Guagua, Lubao, Macabebe, Minalin, San Luis, San Simon, and Sto. Tomas.
Each municipality received between P15-24 million in funding assistance.
The funds are to be used for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads, building of small water impounding facilities and evacuation facilities.
The DILG will monitor the performance of the each municipality through an annual assessment tool.
