The president of Pampanga’s Sanggunian Kabataan (SK) Federation led over the weekend the launch of an antimicrobial resistance campaign in Magalang town.

The information drive spearheaded by Moshe Lacson of Barangay San Nicolas 1 in cooperation with barangay and SK officials of San Nicolas 1, seeks to educate the public about the right way to use antibiotics and discourage self-medication.

Isa po itong problema sa kasalukuyan at napakadelikadong panganib sa ating komuninad,” Lacson said in a Sun Star Pampanga report.

The education drive will start at the barangay level in Magalang and expand to different towns of Pampanga.
