The Pampanga provincial government on Monday, November 28, has extended financial and food assistance to 23 repatriated overseas Kapampangan workers wishing to start a new life in the country.

Vice Governor Dennis Pineda personally gave the P10,000 cash grants and one sack of rice to each OFW at the provincial capitol.

The repatriated Kapampangan workers, who were formerly working in different countries, lauded the politiko’s move as the financial aid could allow them to start a small business.

It can be recalled that prior to the distribution of the grants for overseas Kapampangan workers, Governor Lilia Pineda also distributed Nego-Cart to the latter who have decided to stay here in the country for good.
