Pampanga board member inspects Porac school
Pampanga Board Member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab led officials of Department of Education and provincial government in inspecting Camias High School and its nearby elementary school over the weekend.
The inspection was meant to look into the needs of the schools which were affected by the 2019 earthquake before the start of the pandemic, officials said.
Pineda cited the need to construct more school buildings with the resumption of face-to-face classes, according to a Sun Star Pampanga report.
Several buildings in the high school were damaged by the earthquake.
According to Pineda, the damaged buildings would be repaired to accommodate students, mostly from an Aeta community. The official vowed to bring food and other assistance in the coming weeks.
