P500M OFW Hospital begins construction in Pampanga – Pineda
Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda on Friday expressed optimism that the OFW Hospital and Diagnostic Center that will be built at the capitol in San Fernando City would be finished on time.
Construction of the hospital, which has a 100-bed capacity, began on November 20, the governor said.
“Sinimulan po ngayong November 20 ang pagtatayo ng OFW Hospital and Diagnostic Center dito sa lupa ng Capitol sa PEO Sindalan,” Pineda said.
“Ang P500-million at 100-bed capacity hospital ay pinagtutulungang itayo ng DOLE, OWWA, DOH, PAGCOR, Pampanga Provincial Government at ng Bloomberry Cultural Foundation,” he said.
“Pumayag po kami nina Nanay at Sangguniang Panlalawigan na ipagamit ang lupa ng Capitol sa PEO dahil para sa kalusugan ng mga OFW ang proyekto,” Pineda said.
“Nag-groundbreaking po ito noong February 2020. Sana po ay matapos ito on time para makapagserbisyo sa mga OFWs,” he said.
