P400M gov’t hospital to rise soon in Bataan town

A government hospital funded for P400 million will soon rise in Limay town in Bataan, according to officials.

Bataan officials said the project was made possible thanks to the donation of Hausland Group president Willy Tan of a 2,000-square meter lot at Seabreeze in Barangay St. Francis II for the hospital.

His son, lawyer Ryan Tan, attended the groundbreaking earlier this month.

In a Punto Central Luzon report, Bataan Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III said that the hospital was the realization of his project while still congressman of the second district.

House Bill 8759 or “An Act Establishing in the Municipality of Limay in Bataan a General Hospital to be known as the Limay General Hospital” was authored by Garcia, who was then a representative.

“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng ating nakatuwang upang maisakatuparan ang ospital na ito,” Garcia said in the Punto report.

Bataan Rep. Albert Garcia, the former governor, said that in about a year, the Limay hospital will be serving not only Limay residents but also those of neighboring towns, according to the report.
