Online pre-registration launched in Tarlac City for free Covid vaccines
The Tarlac city government has launched an online pre-registration platform for residents who wish to avail themselves of the free Covid-19 vaccine.
In a Philippine News Agency report, Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles said on Wednesday that residents aged 18 to 59 years old interested to receive free Covid-19 shots can register through www.tarlaccity.gov.ph/register.
“Makakatulong ito upang mas mapabilis ang proseso ng pamimigay ng free vaccine para sa mga boluntaryo at kwalipikadong makatanggap nito sa ilalim ng programang Angel Bakuna Laban sa Covid-19,” Angeles was quoted as saying in the report.
The mayor said only vaccines approved by government regulators would be procured by the city government.
“Ang Tarlac city government ay handa at kasalukuyang nakikipag-ugnayan sa national government at Department of Health (DOH) kung kaya tayo po ay hinihiling na maging panatag na tanging sertipikado lang ng awtoridad ang bibilhing bakuna upang matiyak na epektibo ito at ligtas,” Angeles said.
The vaccination program is voluntary and free, the mayor said.
